This century is the century of outsourcing; almost all of the services are being outsourced to developing countries such as India, China, Singapore and many more Asians countries, from manufacturing to customer service. Reporting should be done regularly and data are up to date to give you a clear picture of the progress that is going on in the outsourced software testing and if there are bugs, you should be aware of, always make sure that communication is open. A good bond between your vendor is always an advantage, not just for the current project but also for the future needs of your company.
